Kick Poverty is a fund raising network that unites soccer players and enthusiasts to help achieve the Millennium Development Goals, one touch at a time.

For the duration of the World Cup, we will put 20,000 touches on the ball with a goal of raising $5,000. You can check back here every day to see our progress and sponsor each touch on the ball for just $.25. Sponsor as few or as many touches as like, every touch counts.

For the duration of the 2010 World Cup, Kick Poverty will be raising $5,000 for charity: water to build a fresh water well that will sustain 250 people. Access to clean water is critical to fight extreme poverty. It helps eliminate water-borne diseases, supports local economy and increases sanitary conditions.
